Bayly Farm is a delightful historic house, owned by Desmond and Jacqueline Bayly. The house, which remains largely unchanged, but enjoys all modern facilities, has been in the ownership of the Bayly family since it was built in the early 19th century.

A most distinguished visitor was Sir William Rowan Hamilton, the world-famous mathematician and physicist. He married Helen Bayly in 1833 and the couple spent their honeymoon at Bayly Farm.

Situated on a 130 acre working farm, Bayly Farm offers excellent accommodation in a tranquil rural setting, looking towards the Silvermines Mountains. The house stands in beautiful parkland, bordered by the Nenagh River. On arrival, why not take a relaxing stroll around the farm.

There is a long circular walk, or several shorter options, all fully way-marked and offering you an opportunity to sit and contemplate by the river. We’ll provide you with a map, information of what you’ll see and even a stick and a pair of wellie boots if you need them! Then, on your return, settle down by a cosy open fire.
